Katie over at Minivan Diva has come up with a wonderful and thoughtful idea to help others this holiday season. I am helping her in launching The Care and Share Project in hopes to reach the homeless this season. This is a great activity for all of us to participate in.
Here is what we are gathering:
Gallon size zip lock bag filled with items from dollar store and food:
chapstick
wool gloves (at 99 Cent store)
Beanie (at 99 cent store)
wisp (on the go toothbrushes) at 99 Cent store
granola bar
raisins
nuts
bottled water
Christmas cookies
Card made by kids
Since Katie and I live near each other we are going to gather the supplies and have our children do this project together. It's a great way to share the spirit of the Christmas season with ones you love, so grab some friends and family and spread the joy.

so sweet... great idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea! We did a ministry with our youth kids where we'd take them down to visit the homeless and bring them socks and hot chocolate in the winter. They were always so appreciative of the little items like that!
