Wyatt's preschool had their field trip at the pumpkin patch today... the HOTTEST day of the year. It was 105* Not to worry though, it was a dry heat so it really only felt like it was 101*
There were oodles and oodles of pumpkins
This was the winner for Wyatt
This was the winner for mama
{It's not a real rat}
We escaped the heat for a bit and went into the candy/nut/gift shop before heading home.
Once we got home we {as in I} were exhausted! Completely worn out. Feeling like I just ran a marathon and then delivered a baby. Did you guys read about that girl? This may have been my last trip to this farm until I get my health back because there was no running or pushing babies out and I was worked. It was just a pumpkin patch but I still couldn't hang. We are planning on going to another one next week with Alexis and hoping for some fall like weather but then again, this is Southern California.
That is HOT!! Your pictures don't look like you guys are suffering...You have such a little model family! Hopefully the fall weather travels to you soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - I totally thought that was a real rat at first!!! Creepy!!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those pumpkins! And those huge ones, wow! I'd hate to have to carve one of those! :o)
You have such a cute blog! I totally love it!!

You look so much like Kate Middleton it's insane! Anyway, so cute, and I totally thought that rat was real at first!
ReplyDeleteLove the rat. A person with a sick sense of humor did that. :) I did read about the woman that ran a marathon and then delivered her baby. Cr.a.zy. Is there any hope for any significant healing.

ReplyDeleteYour pictures just keep getting better & better!
Sorry the trip to the ol' patch wiped you out! :(
If 100 plus degrees is too HOT for ya'...you're always welcome to visit the 61* heartland! ;)
Jealous!! it was 97 degrees in AZ today so it's still way to hot to get pumpkins :( They mold in like 2 days bec of the heat. it's quite um not pleasant!
ReplyDeletewow... i was wishing we'd have some cooler weather, and its in the 80s here... guess i cant complain ;)
ReplyDeletei love that you have the best attitude and hang in there even though you are exhausted. and you sure dont look like it, i agree with melissa- you do have a little model family!
I go here every year!! So glad to meet you in bloggy land!! And I was just telling my sister, I really hope it's not 100 this year when we go to Bates... lol!
ReplyDelete♥HH
How fun! Nate's Butt Farm!! Did Anthony take you by our old house or to the caves?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun trip...sorry it wore you out, freaking sucks. You will get better soon, I know it!
Sidenote: I was admiring the picture of you and Ant's and thought, 'wow, what a cute pic of them, they are a good looking couple...oh, too bad Karen had something stuck in her teeth...would have been perfect except that.'...then I realized it was just some dirt (or food...) on my LCD screen...that landed perfectly on your pearly whites! But I totally thought you posted a picture of you with something in your teeth..I was laughing. Apparently, I need to clean my computer ; )
You are beautiful, lady!
