After a successful day yesterday I was really hopeful that today would be just as great. As I was putting Wyatt to bed last night he became very angry, hitting his pillow, and telling me that he never wants to go to preschool. Oh boy, sound familiar? By the next morning he was all smiles and ready to go.
He actually wanted me to drop him off before dropping his sister off. Anthony was with us this time and as he drove to school I had already started tearing up. Wyatt was seriously happy as can be but that whole thing about my baby is growing up wouldn't get out of my mind.
He did wonderful, I cried {sobbed whatever you want to call it} and finally calmed down after about 30 minutes. I came home and had 3 hours to myself {Anthony needed a nap from being up at work} so I was able to catch up on Bachelor Pad. What a train wreck! Totally addicted to it though :)
Awww, sweet pics of your little guy. I think they get so tired in the evenings and then by the morning their more than ready to go. Glad he was O.k. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's adorable. I love that he was so excited. My friend LIsa is in the turquoise shirt in the background of the hugging pic. Her son, Colin, is in Wyatt's class. I hope it is a great year for Wyatt. Enjoy that little break in the day.
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute!! Glad he had a nice time at school.... (I'm a Bachelor Pad addict too!! lol)

ReplyDeleteyes totally addicted to bachelor pad too this week was tough but did you hear that blake and holly are engaged now?? bummer! i want holly and michael to get back together :-(
ReplyDeleteAw! Looks like he was excited to start school :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Bach Pad...why are we so addicted? It's so bad that it's good!!
Aw, he looks so happy about school!
ReplyDeleteThat's great your little man enjoyed his second day!! I bet those 3 hours go by fast :)
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone! I have been going through the same thing with my kindergartner, and what is it? Like the 3rd week of school and there are still kids that cry in the morning and moms that are sobbing too. It's tough!
ReplyDeleteOn a lighter note: The Bachelor Pad is my secret addiction, if television had MSG, then ABC definitely sprinkles it on their reality shows! (thanks now I know I'm not alone)
nice to meet ya!
Awww, they really do grow up so fast! I keep telling myself that I won't cry (or sob) with these things... Then reality sets in, and I do! Ha! He is just a handsome little man, isn't he?
ReplyDeletePrecious moments. My little guy just entered kindergarden. Time flies, doesn't it? Well, not during sleepless nights.
ReplyDeleteMy third started pre-school this year and it is so bitter-sweet. Love your photos from yesterday. You did great capturing the sky.
ReplyDeleteHi, I am a new follow coming over from The Millers. Your blog is just lovely. Little ones grow up so fast and it's so hard to let them go. It will get better. :)
ReplyDeleteHe does look very happy :-) I love trashy reality tv, its a good escape.
ReplyDeleteAw your little man is growing up! Glad the first day went well :) And it's okay, my mom and I are totally addicted to the Bachelor Pad too! It's like it sucks us in against our will! :)
