We are happy.
Maybe it is because we had time with each other. I can't stress enough how important it is for couples to have alone time. We had 24 hours of pure bliss this past weekend and it rejuvinated our love. Left us with a refreshing outlook and gave us plenty of time to "talk." ;) We realize we need more of that. After falling asleep with a smile on my face, I woke up with... you guessed it, a smile :) And lots of energy. Laughter is the best medicine! The morning has been perfect and even if the house is a mess and I didn't tackle my "to-do" list I have succeeded because I feel so carefree. Everything I see has brought a smile to my face and that feels good! The more I laugh, the more there is to laugh for.
The more I love, the more there is to love.
The more I enjoy, the more joy is found.
Have a good laugh!
That is so awesome. I'm glad you're having a joyful day full of laughter and smiles.
ReplyDeleteIt seems harder to get time with "just the two of us" but then when we finally schedule time, it's amazing. It's so important to have that in a marriage. Thank you for the great reminder!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! ;)

ReplyDeleteHi There! I'm a new follower and I absolutely love this post. Time alone to just be... happy ...is the most important element in a marriage. I look forward to reading and getting to know you more :)
ReplyDeleteTime together, just the two is definitely a must! Enjoy every moment you two can! So happy for you :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, laughter is the best medicine!! What a lovely post :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I think we all are thinking the same thing. I was going to type laughter is the best medicine, but so many beat me to it :)
ReplyDeleteProverbs 17:22 is obviously what comes to mind, but I thought of Proverbs 31:25, too.
That is so sweet that you had some time to yourselves. My husband and I just got married and I still remember the blissful feeling of our honeymoon that it was just the two of us for a whole week, no interruptions, we just got to have each other all to ourselves. I realize that being a newlywed makes me no expert, but I completely agree with you that it is some important to have time to yourselves and rejuvenate the love.
ReplyDeleteAww! So glad to read this!! Alone time is very important... glad you had that opportunity :)
ReplyDeletelove, laugh, live :) .... so good!
ReplyDeleteOh those are the best nights. Sometimes my husband and I just lie in bed and laugh at how crazy hard our times are and find some way of finding it funny. The other night we got to giggling so much my oldest daughter told us to be quiet but then started laughing because we couldn't stop. :)
ReplyDelete"even if the house is a mess and I didn't tackle my "to-do" list I have succeeded because I feel so carefree" YES!!!!!!!!! i have been going through and learning the same thing!
ReplyDeleteLaughter is always the perfect medicine.
